A perfect opportunity to enjoy the most unusual images of the Alhambra, the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada, the fertile plains of Granada and unique snapshots such as the Cathedral and its surroundings, as well as witnessing one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Throughout the tour we will walk through some of the most typical neighbourhoods of the city and its most hidden corners, to learn about its history and legends.

We will start by visiting the gardens of Carmen de los Mártires, which is situated on the hill of Mauror, in the vicinity of the Alhambra and which offers extraordinary panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada, La Vega and the city of Granada. Although it is not a viewpoint in the strict sense of the word, a visit to this viewpoint is a must to enjoy this other side of the city.

Our next stop is the Mirador de la Churra, one of the lesser-known viewpoints in the city, which offers the best views of the Albaicín neighbourhood. This neighbourhood was inhabited from the 14th century by Africans known as "Gomeres" who formed part of the Emir's personal guard.

We change hills and now head up to the Albaicín, where we stop at our next balcony, the Mirador de los Carbajales, which is hidden very close to the streets of the Calderería and often serves as a makeshift stage for local guitarists and singers.

WHAT WILL WE DO?

A little further up is the city's most famous viewpoint, the Mirador de San Nicolás, where tourists flock every day to watch a magical sunset overlooking the Alhambra. This is also a meeting point for craftsmen and artists, and a visit here is an experience in itself. We will take advantage of this stop to take the best panoramic photographs.

And we will finish our route by going down to the Sacromonte district and visiting the Vereda de En Medio viewpoint. It is very relaxing to enjoy the tranquillity of this path, where we can see the landscape of the Alhambra and its surroundings from different points, at a similar height to that of the famous "Castillo Rojo" (Red Castle). A perfect opportunity to sit on one of its benches and observe the panorama, as if we had just travelled back in time and gone back several centuries. Sacromonte is pure magic in every corner.
